Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: August 22, 2026
Mimble is designed to work without a traditional account. We use the information needed to find fair meeting places, synchronize group plans, and support the app. Apple Intelligence requests stay on your device.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Mimble, Inc. (“Mimble,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the Mimble iPhone application, mimbl3.com, and related support services.
2. Information processed by the app
Location
With your permission, Mimble processes your location while you use the app to establish a starting point and calculate meeting options and travel times. You may enter another location instead.
Contacts
Mimble uses Apple’s system contact picker. The app receives only the names or details you explicitly select; it does not upload or scan your full address book.
Shared Mimbles, votes, and chat
Group plans, invite codes, candidate venues, votes, and chat messages are stored using Google Firebase and Firestore so they can synchronize across participants. Participants are identified using anonymous authentication identifiers; no email or named account is required. Anything posted to a shared Mimble may be visible to people with access to that Mimble or its invite code.
Calendar
Mimble requests write-only calendar access only when you choose Add to Calendar. It uses that permission to create the meetup event you requested and does not read your calendar events.
On-device AI
On supported Apple Intelligence-capable devices, Mimble AI interprets requests using Apple’s on-device models. Those prompts are not sent to Mimble, Google, or a cloud AI service. Other supported devices use keyword-based interpretation.
3. Advertising and consent
Mimble displays Google AdMob native advertisements labeled “Sponsored.” Google and its partners may process device, advertising, approximate location, consent, and interaction information to deliver, measure, secure, or limit advertising, subject to device settings and applicable law.
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents consent choices. Mimble does not currently request permission through Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency prompt.
4. Analytics and diagnostics
The Firebase Analytics SDK is included in the app. At launch, Mimble’s own feature-event logging is limited to local development or console output.
Google or Apple SDKs may still collect limited operational, advertising, consent, crash, or diagnostic information according to their configurations and policies.
5. Website and support information
When you contact support or join business early access, we receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address, business name, subject, and message.
Our hosting provider may also process routine logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for security and operation. We do not sell form information.
6. Service providers
We use service providers to operate Mimble, including:
- Apple for Maps, place information, calendar access, and on-device intelligence.
- Google Firebase for anonymous authentication and real-time data synchronization.
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent.
- Gravity Forms for website form processing.
- Our website and email hosting providers.
Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Retention
Shared Mimble content is retained while needed to provide plan history and synchronization, unless deleted under product controls or following a verified request.
Support and business-inquiry records are retained as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Device-level favorites, saved places, and recent history may remain locally until removed or the app is deleted.
8. Your choices and rights
You can change Location, Contacts, Calendar, and advertising-related settings through iOS.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. To make a request, email support@mimbl3.com.
We may need to verify enough information to locate the relevant anonymous or support record.
9. Children
Mimble is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Treat invite codes and links as access credentials and share them only with intended participants.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as Mimble changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
